The staff here is great, they know about wines, and licores, also always willing to help you, the only thing is a bit small so they don't have a great variety of stock

Horrible service and particularly rude employees. The manager asked me if I could stop talking on the phone because some customers "complained" when there was hardly no one in the shop. Would definitely not go back there.

Do yourself a favor and walk a short distance in any direction and shop at a different SAQ. If the lockdown, the masks and the isolation aren’t enough, and you’re up for being mistreated and talked down to by an unctuous millennial then this is the place for you. I ignored my own advise and went back to this location today mainly because I was shopping in the center. Big mistake. I presented my US government issued/CDC card showing 3 PFizer shots along with my NYS drivers license ( I have dual citizenship and residency) a youngish man appears and denies me entry because I don’t have a QR code. Well I do actually have a QR issued by the State of NY that can’t be read outside the state. I explain to this person that the Quebec.ca site states: Travellers to Québec Individuals who do not live in Québec and are travelling in Québec may enter places and participate in activities requiring a vaccine passport if they present the following two documents at the door: Valid photo ID with an address outside Québec A vaccine passport with a QR code or official proof of vaccination against COVID-19 issued by their country or province in Canada He suggests I go to the Palais de Congres and get a Quebec app/QR code. I leave, more than irritated, and go to another SAQ in area and not only get into the store, but am actually treated with respect and good grace; qualities that I have usually experienced in this wonderful city. Side note: I did then go to the Palais de Congres. I received a Quebec QR code by presenting proof of vaccination….wait for it…..the same ID and vaccine card that mssr arrogant of the SAQ in Des Jardins declined to accept!!!’
