Air Wind and Solar does not stand behind their product. They do not respond to emails or phone calls when your system is having issues. Ours was out for over 29 days. Only response from them was to fill out a 30 day weather report. When your system is generating 0 power, there is nothing to report. 0 x 30 = 0. Their customer service does not exist. Our system is finally up and running after we diagnosed and fixed the problem ourselves. And YES the issue was due to wire incorrectly spliced during installation. Our installation was a also a nightmare in that it took over 9 months and 4 electricians to complete, each electrician redoing what the previous 'expert' had installed. Each do-over was due to CPS Energy not approving the work as it was not up to minimum standards. Run away as fast as you can.

Up date.. 10/16 My commercial sunny boy inverter keeps popping codes... Air Wind and Solar did replace the inverter. It took month... For them to take care of the problem... Again the inverter is popping codes and of course no power... I have asked them to please send some one out to fix... That I would even pay... Please I am loosing money... But still a month plus later... No call from the guy the tell me is going to call.. Never any up dates... No answered E-mail... I do not understand the problem in service... It pops an Open face... Has to do with the wiring on top... And I believe it will continue to be a problem... Until they fix it... #SoSad... Thank you for my residential solar system. I'm loving it. From the affordable price to your awesome knowledgeable sales rep and the professional install team. I'm am looking forward to my commercial system. #ThanksGod...... ♥

This is the most dishonest company I have ever worked with. They took over a year and then we had to have all the work rewired by another company because most of the panels were not even working. They sold us a line of bull on putting in more panels to help add solar power to the grid, and then didn't even help us to know what to do to sign up for all of that. So for over a year, we have been paying not only lease on all these panels they said would actually make us money, we still have had to pay electric bills because their work was so shabby. It has been a 2 year nightmare, do not use this company, they don't know what they are doing, and they are very dishonest.

If you are anything like me, you often read through reviews and dismiss the few bad reviews because they are likely written by exceptionally difficult customers or rare situations of poor service. Let me assure you this is NEITHER and that I am writing this to hopefully help someone else avoid a situation like mine. We purchased solar panels in October of 2015. Following the purchase, it took 6 months to get the solar panels on, then they were damaged by a hail storm and we had to deal with several contractors and insurance checks. I attempted to contact Air Wind & Solar several times regarding answers about final installation and was diverted or never got answers to emails and calls. During this time I interacted with several contracted employees who all mentioned that several OTHER customers were also unhappy with their service. The minute they were ready for payment (despite a functioning installation NOT being completed) they harassed me continually and vaguely threatened me. All the while, we were STILL waiting (by no fault of our own) for checks to be sent from our insurance company. On December 20th my family left on Christmas vacation. While I was out for a run and did not have my phone on hand, I received 3 missed phone calls in the span of a single hour. My husband then received a disgruntled phone call from Paul, indicating that he had attempted to contact me repeatedly and that we were delinquent in paying our bill. My husband, who had not been involved in this process whatsoever until this point, mentioned the lengthy process that was not yet complete and how he would like to maintain an understanding that work should be completed before payment should be received. Paul then went on a lengthy diatribe about how my husband could void our contract and endanger himself legally by making such a comment. I came home and was immediately confused, as my husband was about to fork over a LARGE sum we did not as of yet have in our bank account. I called Paul back, stating VERBATIM: Cassie: Hi, who am I speaking with? Paul: It's Paul, Cassie. Cassie: Oh, hi, Paul. I was just talking to my husband and I am kind of confused. Can you fill me in on what's going on? Paul: ....Oh, I think you know very well what's going on Cassie. You're trying to evade payment and you're being intentionally obtuse. Despite the inexplicably hostile beginning, I wanted to understand why we were being treated thusly, as if we were common criminals. I also wanted to understand why the check we received from our insurance company was less than half of the billed statement we received from them. I struggled through the conversation during which I was repeatedly interrupted, accused, and condescendingly lectured. At one point, I was brought to tears after Paul told me they could place a lien on my house or report me to creditors--all because I was waiting for a check to be approved in order to pay them. Paul 'benevolently' offered to extend our payment due date by another month only after berating me and, I can only assume, feeling some ounce of guilt. But then threatened to retract the offer when I mentioned concern over the bank's speed during the holidays. Oh, and as it turns out, we had not received the entire amount of money we were supposed to from our insurance company because they HAD NEVER RECEIVED an estimate from Air Wind & Solar :) ALL THIS TO SAY, If I had a time machine, I would go back and emphatically warn my naive self to stay away from Air Wind & Solar. I have NEVER been treated in such an unprofessional manner nor dealt with a company that is apparently incapable of communicating within itself or with its customers. Save yourself the headache, and go with a different provider.

Glad they are out of business! People ask me who to have install solar panels. I say I really don't know, but I know for sure who NOT to call....Air, Wind & Solar.
