I did my research prior; increased home value and faster resale with solar is appealing. Then Blue Raven Solar got me 1.99% financing and is funding my financing for 18 months, I own the system, helping the environment, awesome. They do everything, permitting, HOA paperwork, scheduling of inspection and utility company net-meter install, and their employees do the installation. On top of that my system is over 100% offset from my utility electricity charges. The Blue Raven Solar installation crew were professional and diverse, from all parts of the country, really interesting to talk too. If you live in Washington state I recommend considering them as the solar company to go with.

This will jump to a 5 star review depending on how my situation is remedied. Right now, I’m feeling very disappointed. The sales process was great; the sales rep (JC) was friendly, helpful and not at all pushy. They were flexible with scheduling, working around my complicated home remodel schedule. Honestly, everyone from sales to support on the phone (or via text/email) was fantastic. They easily get a 5/5. Then there was install. The crew was incredibly unprofessional and did not treat my personal property with respect. They were supposed to finish in one day but left early on day 1 and came back the next day, forcing me to take another day off work. They took forever to get started on the second day. When they finally finished, they were clearly in a hurry to get out of there, neglecting to set up the solar app for me or install the new thermostat (which, I should mention, was the dumbed down version of the originally promised thermostat…kind of a bait and switch here). I was fine with this, as I just wanted these guys to finish up and leave. The next day, my contractor sent me photos of the brand new roof we’d just installed right before the solar project. The Blue Raven install guys clearly drilled holes into my roof, realized they’d measured incorrectly, then filled the holes and move on, causing the shingles to lift because of the patch job. They did not mention any of this to me; just to be clear, they damaged my roof, made very sloppy and hastily installed repairs, and didn’t say a word. The inspector came out and observed the damage, noting that the roof was absolutely damaged but that there was no risk of leaks. They said they’d submit a work order to get this repaired…and then nothing happened. I’m thrilled to have solar at my house but can’t recommend this company because of the very poor install experience.

Blue Raven Solar was great to work with on our project. The sales person was knowledgeable and very informative, gave more than one option and quick to deliver as promised. They automatically upgraded us to a more efficient solar panel when they can available before the installation. When the panels arrived the had the installation done in one day the were respectful of our property and cleaned up afterwards. They had everything set up and we were inspected and up and running within 2 weeks after installation. I would recommend them to anyone if you are interested in solar power.

Blue Raven Solar review. The solar panel installation process of adding the panels to the roof and the electrical components to the house electrical system took about six to seven hours, that was the expected time frame. The installation teams for Jordan and Dexter, worked well together; solar panels installers, mechanical team and the electrician. The entire team were professional and respectful to the family during the installation process. Also, they answered our questions during the process. The construction and waste material was cleaned up during and after the installation was completed. We are very pleased with the team and the installation process.

Great experience from beginning to end! We worked with Eric as our salesperson, he was very helpful and informative and available to us throughout the whole process. The installers were great, super fast! Any questions we had were answered from each team or customer service. Would definitely recommend Blue Raven!
