The sales rep, Alex, was very professional and personable. He explained everything in detail, and answered all the questions I had at the time in a very complete manner. The program seemed to be a viable alternative to being on the grid with the local electric company, but I chose to cancel the contract for personal reasons. The cancellation process was more contentious, although Alex was still very nice about relaying information.

I was interested in home solar, so when the salesman knocked on my door I listened to his pitch. He figured out my average electric bill, $120, and sold me on a system based on a payment of $120 per month for 15 years. The paperwork I signed didn't have a loan length, but the payments were $120 and he assured me it was for 15 years. It made sense, too, because the installation was to be about $17k in total. Later, I found that he lied. The loan was actually for just under $40k, even though I saw the quote from the company who did the installation being under $17k. I complained to Bluenergy and Mosaic, the financing company, but they pretty much told me I already signed so go pound salt. The installers damaged my drywall ceiling in two areas from stepping where they shouldn't have. Bluenergy said they'd repair the damage. That was 19 months ago, and from then until now I placed numerous calls and emails, and even text messages, demanding action. My ceiling is still damaged. They have attempted zero repairs. I have given up. I was undoubtedly scammed by these people. Go elsewhere. I paid more than twice what they promised, and what makes it even worse, once I signed they abandoned me. Edit after response from owner: The only call between Mosaic and me occurred on May 15, 2021, and all she told me was the amount of the monthly payment, and what the payment would elevate to if the choice balance was not met after 18 months. There was no mention of a total loan amount. If your recorded call includes that, it was not me in that recording. In fact, I didn't find out about the total loan amount until May 19, 2021, at which point the three-day grace period for cancellation had passed. My final loan documents, which I saw for the first time on the 19th, did not match what I signed electronically on the 15th. That's when I complained and that's when I was told there would be a 3% fee for cancellation, basically costing me $1200 for the joy of wasting my time. As far as Unicity, I have no contact with them. I never did. Everything was to go through you, Bluenergy, my contractor, not a sub you hired. Your representatives repeatedly assured me they'd take care of it. Please don't try to act like you're now just the innocent middle man after you profited over $22k on a $17k solar installation.

I just want to say that at first I was very skeptical about going solar, as there are so many unknowns that at first I declined the sales pitch for about a year from the first interaction with BlueEnergy Solar but after going through all these ridiculous price hikes from LCEC I said “why not at least listen to what they have to say?” Well, I was definitely pleased with my rep Jhonathan from start to finish and more so every day since! I can honestly and truthfully say that he has been EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL & WITH VERY HIGH QUALITY CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! I could not have asked for a BETTER REP; his follow up and follow through skills are something that I WISH ALL SALES PEOPLE WOULD TAKE A LESSON ON! Exceptional is one word I would definitely throw around! Even during & especially after the sale was done, the man has gone above & beyond to make sure all that I questioned, requested, & was concerned about was addressed! Amazing!!! If you are looking for a Great Solar Company with an EXCEPTIONAL SALES REP call BlueEnergy Solar & ask for JHONATHAN GONZALEZ you will NOT be DISAPPOINTED… GUARANTEED 😊 (P.S. Started out well, but soured quickly when I cancelled under Florida's 3 day cancellation period. Representative immediately told me a lien had been applied to my house which could be removed if I paid a permit cancellation fee. Other scare tactics were applied as well. Unprofessional

The only reading for two stars was because the installers were awesome even though they left a gallon water jug on our roof. Ashten the sales rep does not return calls or emails. We had reached out to him multiple times regarding the water jug and it has been over a month and the jug is still on the roof. I even called his personal cellphone from a different number and when I told him who is was he said “oh I am Ashten assistant”. Today I called the 888 number hopefully we will get issues and questions answered Update: the water jug has been removed and Ashten reached out and stated that he had done his part and apologized that I wasn’t aware that it was the project manager responsibility. He also stated we should be getting access soon to our monitoring app.
