Freedom Forever - Chicago

Stay away from Freedom Solar, this company came out to my house to inspect my home for Solar, they did the inspection and said everything is good to go, okay that's great. Then how many weeks later a team shows up to install the Solar panels and 3 boxes for the electrical, then I had the one installers put holes all over my siding to install one of the 3 electrical boxed and did not tell me about the damage and left it as it was, as you can see by the photo the holes at the top of one box, can't hide that one, so I called and complained about it and sent them photos and I had to wait how many weeks in having that siding replaced. Now I wait again in how many weeks to have the electrical guys come out to finish installing the final electrical work and they now tell me my electrical service box needs to be moved in my basement because of its location is not good and would not pass a inspection once the work would be completed, I also need to upgrade my service coming from the utility poll to my house and that's all underground service. Now your talking about how many thousands of dollars I have to payout to have the Solar job finished in being installed on my house. Really... This should of been inspected from the start to see if my home was able for Solar without any major upgrades that would cost the home owner thousands of dollars. Well it was not inspected the right way. So now I have Solar Panels on my house and my new roof with my new siding with hole all over and I have to spend thousands of dollars to finish the Solar install if I want Solar. So now we have a big problem because I am not going to payout thousands of dollars to upgrade my house to take Solar when Freedom Forever Solar should of done thier job right on the first inspection and telling me from the start that I would need this done before Solar could be installed on my house and Freedom Forever Solar failed to tell me until the final install of the electrical work. Not good business what so ever and now we have the problem in what going to happen with the system that's been installed on my house in having it all removed because I am not paying out thousands of dollars in money that they Freedom Forever Solar screwd up in not doing the inspection right to start with. I guess this will more likely to become a lawsuit in me getting a new roof installed and my siding fix. I can see that coming, so stay away from Freedom Forever Solar, they are a screwed up company to deal with !

SD Ballers - This crew was AMAZING to work with, especially the electrician Derek. I had a lot of questions and concerns where things would be placed and he answered all of our questions. He worked with us to best place for the inverter as we had a lot of obstacles. They did an amazing job and made the whole process a wonderful experience!!

Since I started the process with Freedom forever, I’ve been very pleased. I received multiple quotes for different solar systems from different companies and they had an amazing price and amazing customer service. There are multiple people I talk to throughout my process who were able to assist me. I’ve had my panels on my roof for over a year now, and couldn’t be any happier! I have referred many friends and family to Freedom Forever and they have all had a good experience.

The Tornadoes crew with Joe were awesome. They were very professional, informative and pleasant. One week later I had my roofer come out and my, not even 2 year old rig now has a hole in it that was not there before the panels were installed.
