The app is extremely useful for not only finding out what's in stock but locating items you can't find as well. It's a lot more convenient than asking a clueless worker who just points you in a vague direction/area.

The fact that you have more people standing around watching customers doing their job for them rather than putting them on a register to do the job they should have been hired to do!! Ridiculous!!!

Called before a snow storm to get new tires and schedule an oil change too. Automotive was closed early due to staffing. Called the next day and was told I could choose tires the following day after letting them know I wanted something cheap, around $400 for all 4 tires or less. I arrive and they start with the oil change as I pick out tires. They inform me that they don't have any tires in my size...I ask myself why am I even here?! I remember telling them what kind of car I drove for sure and maybe even the size of tires I needed. Fast forward about 5 minutes. They suddenly have tires. But only ones that are about 20-30% more expensive. It's icy outside. I have a bald tire. I have kids. I thought I was getting a chance at cheap tires but instead was stuck between no tires and wasted time and dangerous driving conditions or forking out the extra money. Guess which I chose? I asked to talk to a manager about the situation. The auto service manager said they typically tell their employees to close early if nobody is at the counter. Guess having your phone number online and your hours is just a general guideline and not actual hours of operation. They also continued that the issues I had encountered were simple human error and dismissed me. I asked to speak to their manager. They inform me that "Alex" is not in the store today. I walk away frustrated and go to the customer service desk to ask for Alex's number so I can leave a message in hopes of reasonable conversation. I am informed that Alex is infact in the store but is on the phone. I should mention. I arrived at roughly 3:50pm and at this point it is 4:45. My car is not done yet. I wait until 5 o'clock. Eventually I speak to someone else who seemed genuinely like they were trying to understand the situation and help me out in whatever way they could to make the situation right in my eyes. They leave to go talk to someone else or make a phone call in regards to the situation. At this point I've been in the store for nearly two hours when I am notified that my car is ready. My kids are in daycare a half hour away and need to be picked up by 5:30. I call the daycare to let them know I'll be late. I expect a late fee of $25 at this point. So all in all I ended up feeling like I was essentially bait and switched into buying more expensive items than I needed. All of this could have been avoided if the person I spoke with on the phone had just informed me what selection they had for tires and I could have decided to go elsewhere and have avoided this entirely. Will be doing so in the future if nothing is done. Waiting for a call from the store as I had to leave before the issue was resolved.

Helpful staff. Clean isles with outstanding organization. I don’t usually find what I’m looking for right away at a Walmart due to the constant rearranging that takes place but then again this was the first time shopping the LeMars branch. To me it’s worth the drive from Sioux City and I’ll forever shop there. Thank you to everyone that pointed me in the correct direction today
