This is the second time in a week that Ace Hardware of Mauldin has once again showed that they care nothing about their customers. Today my son and I walked in with no acknowledgement from the 3 employees by the front entrance. We go to get the items we needed. My son asked a question to a employee walking by and he said hold on he would be right back. We never saw him again. Then we get up to the register and Griffin was the cashier. There was a older lady in front of us with a cart full of plants and hanging baskets. He rang her up, didn't offer to help her with anything or call to one of the 2 guys standing outside to help her with anything. So my son offered to help her out with her things. Then Griffin started to ring up my order. Out of the 11 things we got he put 7 of them in the same bag. Then I asked him to please put the rest of the things in bags as well. He rolled his eyes at me and sighed like I asked him to do something so horrible. The way he bagged the 2 out of the 3 bags, he busted one bag of bird feed & cracked the bird feeder I just bought. He was the most rude employee I have ever met and has no idea what customer service is about.
Think twice before shopping here. It's worth the longer drive to get better customer service elsewhere. This store needs to fire their employees and hire new ones. Because these young boys are only there for a paycheck and nothing else.
