DIY remodeling for 3 months. Staff has been terrific. Thank yall Update. Day 200 of DIY home remodel. This is a great store with a helpful and courteous staff. The returns and exchanges are completely trouble free. Thank you especially to JACQUI. Second time this fall that you’ve helped me with my returns. You’ve been terrific JACQUI

Store is nice and we’ll stocked. However, the “military discount” that Home Depot brags about to the military community is VERY misleading: made my first use of the 10% discount today. $85 in purchases: couple melamine shelves; toilet seat & a 6’ extension cord ($2.50). My “discount” was $0.25. 10% off of the only item eligible: the $2.50 extension cord. The sales associate said “some items are not eligible.” I won’t be prioritizing shopping at Home Depot any time soon. This policy is misleading to the military community. If the company is concerned about abuse…there are many other ways to monitor abuse than to make the vast majority of items ineligible. Just do away with the program.

The service here is beyond terrible! I would not recommend this store to anyone. I understand that a lot of places are short staffed but on 3 different occasions all within a week I had an issue with service and my order at this store. The workers that are there barely want to help and I had a worker talking negatively about me (over the phone)not knowing my sister was standing in front of her. With the amount of money I’ve spent at this store just within the last quarter of the year, I would think I would receive better service and some respect. I have written a letter to corporate in regards to my service and I will frequent Lowes moving forward.

I try not to trash staff because workers are overworked and underpaid, but if corporate American could at least attempt to have some semblance of a politeness interactive frame for its workers I would appreciate it. So, I'll pivot to blaming the context, because this staff member was being rude to customers in the Customer Service Section because it was not clear where customers were supposed to line up or how things were laid out. Context tells people what to do!!! Make line-forms clear corporate America!!
