Looks like I have to add to the one star reviews. This company has zero respect for your time. They make appointments then change appointment times without communicating. They have site inspectors come out, do a halfway job and then their installers complain about things they miss. Their electrical contractor did a rushed job because someone else failed to do a proper pre-inspection, then did the worse aesthetic job possible. And when I was sold the system, I was told I couldn’t do batteries, then suddenly I could and when I added batteries I get hit with a $500 “change fee” and they are dragging their feet getting this done? At least the panels are clean on the outside, but their aim on the bolts into the rafters are a bit to be desired. Who knows when this disaster will be finished. They could have done better on the pipe between the panels in the front: but st this phase who knows. Sadly it looks like the best they do is a form letter to all their one star reviews. Can’t even take these reviews seriously.

We need a roof replacement so we contacted Freedom to take down the solar so that our roofers can start the job. After multiple calls they send us an invoice which we paid right away and scheduled the job. We called a day before to confirm and they said it is scheduled as promised. Well...they didn't show up. After multiple calls they said they are waiting on senior management and can't complete the job. Now our roofing job is in the air because noone is able to tell us what's the holdup. I really think they just don't care. It is extremely frustrating and I am so sorry I ever did business with them.

This company installed our solar and put a lien on our house for an $8 unpaid amount that we were not aware of. We paid the $8 30 days ago and they just sent us another invoice for the same amount after running the transaction. Not one person has been responsive about removing the lien and they clearly don't have their books in order. I would be very careful of doing business with them.

Like a lot of reviewers, we had our solar installed and yet still haven’t received permission to operate. So we are paying our monthly solar bill and our monthly electricity bill, with no solar to offset the cost. We called freedom and they said they’d pay the monthly solar bills we’ve been getting in the meantime and we were happy about that, but we were never reimbursed. So lots of false promises. And get this, the sales guy promised us $1000 as a promotion for signing on and that check never arrived either. We signed the papers 8 months ago! They are liars and I’m feeling more and more that we may need to hire legal counsel to get anything done.

I debated on giving a review or not. I wanted to give this company the benefit of doubt. However just like multiple customers have said they just aren’t very good. I had my solar panels installed on November 4 which only took a few hours to complete. At the end one of the technicians had told me that the inverter they installed wasn’t working properly. I figured they would come out and just replace it but a few weeks went by and I got no update. So I called and asked what was going on and was given a ticket number 808146. Again I thought with me making an effort for looking into what was happening something would happen. Once more they let me down. I called back again to ask for an update just to be told they cancelled that ticket since the inverter should be fine as it is brand new. However they submitted another ticket 834780 for it. Again. NOTHING has happened. I got my PTO granted December 5th and still haven’t had solar. I called today Dec 13 asking for an update to be put on hold while she talks with a manager to find out some details and what would you know? The rep came back on the phone to let me know that the inverter that supposedly fine since it was “brand new” needs to be replaced after all. They can’t give me an estimate of when a tech can come out and replace it but thinks it could be done in about 2 weeks. Do yourself a favor and go with solar from someone else. Vivint needs to partner with someone else for solar before they start losing customers
