I really wanted to like this company. I liked the quoted price and the salesman/owner seemed very knowledgeable. I put down a 10k deposit and agreed to pay the balance with cash when the job was completed. The communication was very good prior to me putting down the deposit, but not afterward. Several weeks later, I reached out asking for an update on the install date and received no response to several texts and voicemails. As you can imagine, this was very concerning to be ghosted after giving them a large cash down payment. After a week of not hearing back, finally notified them that I wanted a refund on my deposit and that I would go with another company. This did get a response, in fact, surprisingly, rather than an apology, the salesman was very angry with me for my expectation of wanting a refund. Hard to understand how they could blame me after they were too busy to return my calls or texts. They refused to refund the money and installed the panels. They did a good job on the install and I was happy. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt on the communication issue and even referred them to several other friends and clients who were interested in solar and had asked me about it after seeing mine. But, after a year went by, I tried texting them again with some follow up questions and guess what? No response. I don't like to leave negative reviews but I don’t know how anyone can ignore their clients and stay in business. I am very worried about having any warranty issues. How long does it take to send a quick response by text?

No high pressure sales, no misleading sales pitch, no pressure to sign or rush: just knowledgeable sales people, friendly and thorough installers, fair prices and quick responses to questions. My experience with Redstone was substantially better than I imagined. I would recommend Redstone to anyone who wants to invest in solar. 6 months later and I'm still a satisfied customer! EDIT 4 YEARS AFTER INITIAL INSTALL We have had about 20 different contractors and companies help with different projects on our house. Redstone is the only one that after years of the equipment being installed I have found nothing wrong with the work they did or how they installed it. I am exceedingly happy with them and the work they did. After being a customer for 4 years, we decided to add west facing panels to our house to get some late afternoon/evening production and to generate more because we recently got an EV. There were multiple changes to the bid because of unforeseen factors; they still met their initial bid price and even reduced the price when the installation got less complicated. The overall project cost was about a 1/4 of our initial install 4 years ago, but they still had the same attention to detail, excellent communication and excellent work that I've come to expect from them.

I added to my system that they additionally installed and I got a battery installed as well. Redstone is the most cost effective place I've found. Everything was explained to me before, during install, and after. It's been a great system. I want even more!

Redstone solar is great. I’m glad we found them. We were looking for someone to come assess our system because we inherited our solar panels from the previous home owners. Redstone specialist came over to take a look and found our panels were not working properly, we wish we would have had them come sooner! The specialist was very knowledgeable, very friendly and respectful, and very helpful. We will be going through them to get things back up and running. They helped find the most cost effective way to solve our problems and really care about quality and cost.

I can't recommend Redstone Solar enough. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and goes into great detail about the pro's and con's of different system options. I came into solar as an investment in my home and am so glad I chose them. I'm glad I'm they informed me of all the different solar panel makers and who will be around in the future and has a track record for serving their warranties. Can you find someone offering solar for cheaper, probably. Will you be as well informed and know that your panels are made to last with an easy to use warranty if something were to happen... Probably not. Don't risk it. Get an estimate from Redstone and see how much better they are!
