I recently purchased two solar operated string light from from Costco by Sunforce. One string worked but the other didn't. When I contacted customer service they immediately sent me a replacement after asking few questions. Andrew was great! The light was the perfect addition I needed to brighten up our patio outside!

Don't waist your money! I purchased a Coleman 25w solar charging kit a few months ago. The controller would not cut out. I returned the product figuring that it was a defective controller. I purchased the product again last week. This controller cuts out at 13.8 volts not at 14.2 (but this is acceptable). The problem is that this controller does not cut in at all, even when the battery was drained to 9 volts. The only time it would start charging is if I disconnected the controller to the battery and connected it again. Do they not test these products before sending them out? I am very displeased with the 25 w system. I purchased a Coleman 40 w kit from Canadian tire back in 2014 and the controller still works perfect (cut in @ 13.15 v and cut out at 14.32 volts). I purchased a Coleman again because I was very happy with my first Coleman product. I contacted Sunforce (Sunforce is the worldwide exclusive licensee for Coleman energy products) regarding this issue. They told me that they would send me a new controller. The new controller however didn't work properly either. When it charges, the amber light does not stay solid. It flashes indicating trouble. It was charging the battery, however it was overcharging because it would not stop charging even past 20 volts. I had to take it off my battery because I was afraid that it may damage my new battery. I reconnected my old Coleman charge controller (which worked fine since 2014). I am back to where I started; two solar panels with one good charge controller. I have contacted the company twice after I received this controller. They have not responded. It seems that they have ghosted me. Had they tried to contact me in order to fix the situation, I would have been happy. I understand that in production, there are devices that may be defective. I have zero respect for a company that doesn't stand behind their products. I won't be buying another Coleman or Sunforce product again! P.S. For those people who have bought these systems, make sure that they are working properly (ie cut in, cut out @ the right voltage), because you may harm your batteries!

Zero star rating!! This company has the worst customer service possible. I bought 6 solar led strings from Costco, and 4 out of the 6 strings don't work. They have defective batteries and this company wouldn't address the issue at all. After almost 3 weeks of waiting I will return everything back to Costco and never buy anything from Sunforce again. Very disappointing

A ZERO star rating would be my choice for the inept, careless, Tech Support at this company where their Customer Service Plan amounts to finding any way they can to blow off any customer with an issue. Purchased one of their String Light arrays which stopped working a few months in, contacted Sunforce with the purchase receipt, and their response for more than a year is that they are 'out of stock' - uh huh, and the retailers are fully stocked, everywhere. Pointing this out, their brilliant Tech Support Rep, Andrew can't be bothered to respond. Ongoing bull*&^% since June 2021. Can only hope that the demanding environment in business today puts this company at the bottom and then gone. ****I would like to amend this review: Thanks to Simon Bailey from Sunforce Support, who took this issue and turned it completely around. Every company needs a Simon Bailey representing its Customer Service.

They sell cheap solar lights. 709888 is a junk product which is full of flaws. 2 different units and each has a different problem. One has batteries which do not stay charged and the motion sensor on the other is broke. Both were installed under overhangs so the weather would not affect them but that did not help. STAY AWAY FROM THESE OVERPRICED CHEAP PRODUCTS.
