From beginning to end the team at Northwind was first class. The process of planning, clear answers to all of our questions, install, and activation all went perfectly. We are looking forward to many sunny energy producing days ahead.

We recently had Northwind solarize our residential home. From A to Z, everyone on staff was professional, friendly and super respectful of the space they were working in. The project was actually completed ahead of schedule and Northwind is great about always keeping you in the loop every step of the way. The job they did was first-rate and they left the impacted areas looking nice and tidy. My wife and I are both hard to Wow, but Northwind absolutely exceeded all our expectations.

Wonderful and extremely easy to work with. Walked us through the entire process from initial questions, to design to final installation. Very prompt with answering questions or concerns that came up along the way. Do to the exceptionally warm late fall, they were able to work our install in 4 months earlier that planned. Highly recommend.

NorthWind Solar recently completed a major expansion of our solar capability . . . and during the process, from “bidding to commissioning our system,” also expanded our expectations regarding service; they could not have been more detail-oriented, more efficient, or more professional in their interactions with my wife and myself. As consumers, we’re curious about how things work and anxious to understand the “ins and outs” of our system. In EVERY case, our questions were met with prompt, coherent, and affable responses. I’m certain we posed some “dumb” questions along the way, but we were always treated with respect and always invited to seek answers to questions or concerns we might have; every person we worked with was both kind and professional. Our system works as promised, but it also looks good! Our new array relates perfectly to our earlier array; required screening and grounding were skillfully completed; and every element of the interior wiring and inverter install was finished with an eye toward function and aesthetics. And lastly, upon completion of our install, NorthWind also worked diligently to align our (3) inverters with SMA’s monitoring platform to enable us to monitor our system’s production on our mobile devices. NorthWind Solar exceeded our expectations in every way; we had an exceptional experience working with them.

North Wind installed a 6 kilowatt photovoltaic system with a Tesla Powerwall for me. Everyone I dealt with was competent and professional. Despite the challenging weather we had, everything was installed efficiently and neatly. The system works great! If I produce more electricity than I need, the Powerwall gets topped off first, then the extra gets sold back to the utility. At night, and during bad weather, the Powerwall provides the power I need. North Wind Renewable Energy is a worker-owned cooperative, so the full-time employees have a vested interest in the success of the company, and it shows. Shine on!
