Our Company is a significant player in the Alberta Solar industry, and has purchased Megawatts of various on and off grid equipment from HES. I cannot say enough good things about the level of Service I receive from HES PV. I feel that if an installer knows what they are doing, doesn't assume HES will do their job for them, the experience will be an amazing one. Realize that HES PV is not a retailer, hence why they only sell to skilled installers that are 100% accountable for every facet of their projects, including material procurement. We know things can happen that are completely out of one's control, that does not constitute a reactive negative review and we account for this in our overhead, hence why we are not the cheapest contractor in town, but HES makes up for this with their great pricing so everyone is happy, most importantly the client. HES goes the extra mile to make their customers happy, therefore many thanks to this team! Highly Recommended!

I have been a long time HES customer. I ordered a ground mount and was repeatedly assured that it was on its way and that it would arrive any day now. I finally received the order to months after I had anticipated it. I also ordered 24 modules which were poorly packed, when I uncovered the modules I realize that the top module was broken. Even though I called the sales person within an hour of receiving the broken module, I was told there was nothing they could do about it and had to pay for another module as well as the shipping for it. This also took an additional four weeks to sort out for one module. I would highly recommend choosing one of the other wholesalers in Edmonton that can provide a higher level of service.

As a customer I have had nothing but terrible experiences with HESPV. They have added significant cost to projects through incorrect engineering and they sell low-quality goods self-branded that are truly awful to work with as an installer, at the same higher prices that other manufacturers sell far superior gear. I know that the people who worked on the engineering were not engineers, and the sales treatment was terrible, they do not own their errors and make it right with customers... they screwed up anything I ever brought them and I prefer other suppliers and in house engineering as a contractor. These people will abandon you after screwing up your stuff, and even if you manage to get a coherent project put together they are selling a ton of low end junk as well... the physical quality of the hardware and racking is sub par compared to others like UNIRACK and KINETIC, and their module quality is really poor (as evidenced by the manufacturer warranty details compared to others, and the technical specs as published). Avoid as a contractor, they can't be trusted and when the screwups happen they expect you to eat it, like they did with mine.

My charger for my battery bank failed so I was hoping to get a new one as it's kinda an emergency being fully off grid and having your charger go down. Terrible, the website said they were opend (middle of the week) and drove from out of town to find they were closed. On top of that no one answers the phones. Terrible company and even worse customer service. Would not recommend at all, go to solar superstore or G2 instead.
