Relatively simple process. Good final quote that we were able to adjust (add two more panels) and simple installation that took less than 4 hours on the day. The communications could have been a bit better - everything worked but it would be good to get interim update that everything is going to plan etc. Also handover docs need to be explained prior to leaving the house. Still worth it though. Most recommended!

The system works extremely well. The installation was done professionally. Only issue is getting support after the installation. I want more batteries and would like more information about how the system operates but have not been able to get a response from Solar Together.

Co-ordination, communications and keeping appointments extremely poor. Quality of equipment installed very good, very pleased. Roof fitting of panels could be better - no joy in trying to correct panel alignment, Solar Together not interested at all to even look to check whether OK. Had one issue with Pylontech batteries discharging too much, seems to now be OK but no advice on what caused issue or if it has been resolved to prevent re-occurrence in future.

The installation went ahead quickly and smoothly, using a really efficient team. Only problem was the scaffolding was put too close to our windows so we couldn't open them on the hottest days of the hottest summer ever. We have concerns about the Solis customer service though, as we keep getting battery alerts that have to be rectified by my husband going into the loft. We had a separate electrical connection installed downstairs at extra cost, but no-one gave us instructions on how to use it each time the batteries fail, so still have to go into the loft. We need more explicit instructions in writing. There is no contact number if you do experience real problems. The hot summer gave us lots of electricity in the batteries and our bills dropped substantially. Not so in the winter but we still get some power import. We are pleased we did the investment as the power prices are only going one way.

The work when finally completed was good but the journey getting there was terrible. The fitters could not fit the number of panels that the surveyor said would go on the roof. Fortunately this was identified before the work started. The work was delayed many months with the scaffolding left up on the building. Some of the panels were not connected to the inverter on initial completion of the work - I spotted this when they left and had to ask them to return. The remote feature for monitoring the inverter did not work and had to be refitted. The device for balancing panels in shade were not fitted. I was refunded the cost and assured that they were not required. I spotted the non fitment I was not told about it in advance - if I had not spotted it I am not sure that I would have got the refund. Glad I got the work done but I would not recommend the contractor that did the work.
