LightLeaf has a unique product where they produce very lightweight solar panels that can be installed on a mobile home, boat, or other applications. I have a sailboat in the Northeast US area and have been looking for solar panels for numerous years. I didn’t want to put heavy panels on my dinghy davits. When I found LightLeaf I was amazed at the lightweight technology they use to produce their panels. I recently installed two 140w panels on my dinghy davits and couldn’t be happier with the product!! Rick, Nathan and team were very helpful through the process and delivered promptly as promised!!

Rick and the team at Lightleaf Solar are excellent to work with. They created a brand new solar panel design for our Droplet camper trailer that has been clean and simple to operate. Given their attention to detail, they actually downrated their panel's output a bit so that it best matched our Li-Ion battery. Their prices are very fair and we highly recommend Lightleaf Solar's team and their very robust solar panels.

The two 50W, 12V, carbon fiber solar panels are performing as expected on our 6.5m sailboat. Mounted to the outboard sides of the pushpit rail, they can swivel from vertical to horizontal to maximize sun exposure and stay clear when sailing or transporting. Rick and company did a great job building and installing them. Our 75W coleman cooler and electrics can now operate from a single 12V deep cycle battery 24/7. Next stop, solar powered electric propulsion.

We have one lightleaf panel on our meaner bean Bean trailer and we are very impressed with it so far. The biggest positive for us is not having to stop in at an RV park after a few days out in our trailer to recharge. We don’t want to pay to stay anywhere to charge up as that defeats the biggest purpose of having a teardrop for our family. We are looking forward to seeing more benefits this summer when we use our trailer and solar panel before and after backpacking trips! How lovely will it be to come back from the backcountry and have fresh food ready to cook thanks to the panel keeping the power on in our little fridge! We highly recommend lightleaf solar panels for all our adventures near and far!

I contacted Lightleaf for their help in replacing my dropLEAF 100w solar panel that unfortunately flew off my teardrop trailer (I failed to lock the mounts before hitting the highway) Rick was quick to respond with options. Within a day he had my new panel ready and shipped from their facility. My trailer is an Escapod and Lightleaf makes a custom molded solar panel especially for this model. It's very light weight, very sturdy and well designed for the elements. It's the main source of power for our little trailer and has served us very well. I have no doubt that it survived the fall on the highway and is still functional. I was sad to have lost the original but I do hope that a lucky someone found it and is putting it to good use!
