BEST PLACE TO TRAIN! Seriously, ask me about joining M1 and I’ll say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’m there roughly 5-6 days a week, and have built such strong relationships over the past 9 months that I truly consider these people to be my family…my team. You grow close with the other students training at this gym because you see the same faces day in and out. You’re all there for the same purpose – to put in hard work and work towards your goals, all while doing so in an environment that is respectful and supportive. This gym really gives off an accepting and positive community vibe, which I absolutely love!!!! No matter what fitness or skill level you’re at, you will feel comfortable training at M1. When it comes to their trainers, I can’t say enough good things. They are extremely knowledgeable in their craft, and are all so caring, approachable, and friendly. Don’t be fooled though, because boy do they train you hard! They get to know everyone individually (which is something I really value, since you don’t see that in the bigger gyms out there), and they continually challenge and push you to your limits. Whether you want to be a successful fighter, or simply want to get in shape and pursue a healthy lifestyle, they want you to succeed and are dedicated to your continual improvement. I’ve trained at a number of different fitness centers and martial arts gyms in the past, and can attest to the fact that M1 is like no other….and anyone who knows me knows that this place has become my second home. I would highly recommend checking them out…you won’t regret it!!!

From the moment I walked in, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be apart of the M1 family. Having explored multiple martial arts gyms in the Vaughan/ Mississauga area, I can confidently say that none of them come close to what M1 has provided me over the last 2 years. Regardless of your skill level and experience, you’re welcomed with open arms. The coaches are professional, experienced and dedicated! They have a genuine passion for Thai Boxing and truly take the time to learn each student’s strengths and weaknesses to help with development. Whether it’s one-on-one training sessions or sticking around after class, the coaches are always there to help. They see your capability and are constantly encouraging and motivating you to be the best that you can be. What I love most is that each coach provides a different training style which in turns provides a variety of classes to help accommodate each student’s specific goals, skill and experience level. From Kettle Bell, cardiovascular focused workouts to advanced technical classes, there is something for everyone! The best part…..? Classes are offered all week which makes it super easy to fit into a busy schedule! I highly recommend this gym to anyone who is contemplating trying something new or has a background in martial arts. This gym is my second home and I am proud to represent Team M1!

Great reception. Great workouts. Amazing instructors. Great culture. A well kept, clean, respectable gym. I have already lost 20 pounds in my first month.

This is one place that if they offered a lifetime membership I'd be 1st one to sign up, hands down the best I've ever experienced. It is more than just a gym, but more of a community, an all-for-one, one-for-all kind of team. All the coaches are really amazing - each has their own different styles but all share one thing in common - they want you to be better and they will work with you together to help you get there. The owner Alex is a great fighter, coach, but most importantly an awesome friend that truly cares about each and every single member of the gym.

I first started training here when I was 15. One of my biggest regrets in life was when I stopped training here and did other things. They make you feel like your family the second you step in. The coaches teach you push you and simply bring the best out of you. If your looking to learn how to fight or just train to stay in great shape I’d highly recommend coming here.
