I believe this is a wonderful place to train at if you are interested in learning kung fu, kickboxing, acrobatics, American ninja warrior, and/or so much more other things. The training area (dojo) at double dragon features many clean and new equipment varying from a boxing arena on the second floor to a obstacle course to monkey bars to almost any other thing you can think of (that belongs to a dojo). The academy is enormous and even has a room that features benches and a tv that is linked to the cameras in the dojo for the parents/spectators to watch. But if they prefer they can watch in a little waiting area that's in the dojo. The staff and instructors are really nice. Double dragon doesn't teach karate though, so if you are looking for a place to learn karate you can visit Kitchener karate academy which is a 1 minute drive from double dragon (Dojo means a room or hall in which martial arts are practiced)

My son took Kung Fu here. Although he was too little to stick at it, everyone was wonderful to deal with there. Very bright & clean and professional. Staff was lovely and knowledgable. They offer a lot of programs with a lot of flexible hours for both children and adults.

My son Daunte joined Double Dragon a few months ago and he absolutely loves it. This gym is quite spacious, well maintained, and the instructors are fantastic! I don’t agree with the bad reviews as I find it unreasonable for parents to expect consistent one on one time for each child during group classes. A child can’t grow into a confident, self motivated, and strong individual if they need hand holding all the time. This is not how one becomes disciplined. If parents want one on one time for their kids, they should pay for private classes. With regards to children class sizes, this can fluctuate. My son has been in classes with as little as 10 kids and sometimes up to 20 but there’s always multiple instructors teaching and keeping a close eye on everything. I appreciate the extra details Chris put into this gym to make it comfortable for his members and the parents. My son did cry a few times in the beginning.... however I didn’t run to him, baby him, or throw a fit as some parents may choose to do. It was a new environment. He was nervous, anxious, and intimidated by the other kids who were slightly more advanced than him. These are natural feelings when a child (especially an introverted one) experiences change. Rather than pulling him out of class and giving up, we had a heart to heart talk about some of the greatest athletes in the world and how they overcame struggles to get to where they are now. This talk completely changed his mindset and he totally loves coming to class each week! Thank you Chris and staff for all your hard work. Our puppy Luna loves it here too.... she seems to be popular with the kids. Cheers! You guys are badass!!!! 😀

Had my son's birthday party here and Chris did an amazing job. He managed 10 kids for the entire two hrs while my husband and I sat back and took pictures. It was easy on us and great fun for the kids. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back;)

Hands down, this facility has the best equipment and space. Each class is geared towards health, conditioning, and proper technique. Very much enjoyed my time there. The opportunity to compete is there, if people choose to pursue fighting. But it is also a great place to get a sweat on and shed some pounds for general health. All in all, a good experience.
