In Motion is a wonderful dance studio! From the director (Lisa) and teachers, to the parents and students! Everyone there wants one thing, for the kids to have an amazing experience! Lisa’s parents and husband are often there helping out, attend the competitions and their kids dance there too! It’s nice to see the family all working the business together! The choreographers are friendly and just as important, they are dedicated to training our kids to be the best kids they can be, in dance and as kind, courteous and disciplined little humans! Our daughter has danced at In Motion since she was 3 years old (10 years ago!) Her best friends are all kids from this studio, in her class and otherwise! Our son also started dancing there this year and is loving it! The friendships made at In Motion are truly so special, kids as well as us parents! Just one more thing before I wrap up 🙃! I have to mention that although not the reason we love and stay at In Motion, a definite perk is that Lisa always strives to keep costs reasonable for parents, safe to say we all appreciate this! Proud to be part of the IMD team!

My daughter has been an instructor at In Motion Dance School for 5 years now and raves about the training and family environment that this studio has created. The owner has showed nothing but respect towards my daughter, her students and even myself. My daughter has undergone professional training in working with children and treats everyone with kindness and fairness. I know that my daughter and the rest of the staff at In Motion go to great lengths for every single one of their students and families. This is a dance studio I would recommend to anyone in a heart beat.

I have been dancing here since I was 4 years old and it has been the best decision I have ever made. The director Ms.Lisa has improved me as a dancer and as a person. Thank you to all of the staff and dancers for bringing this studio to life. IMD🫶🏽

Miss Lisa is the most amazing and talented studio director in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. She is kind, caring and treats all of her staff, parents and students with respect.

My little sister goes to this dance studio and she does not like it at all. It’s very unprofessional, the teachers are disrespectful. Calling parents and children names, talking back and arguing with parents. Neglecting the parents concerns about the rude comments towards their children and my moms child. I personally wouldn’t recommend putting your child/ family member in this studio. If I could leave 0 stars I would, but people need to hear the truth.
