I have just recently watched my nieces & nephew test for their belts, I was so moved by their development I had to praise UFMA West. They have been attending for 8+ years and to see their growth is incredible. Yes, they are receiving incredible lessons about Karate and self defense. What I am most impressed with are the lessons the instructors take the time to teach about life, respect, goal setting, hard work.... In today's world with meanness becoming somewhat acceptable along with lack of commitment & hard work in some generations... to hear the passion of the instructors is so inspiring. I have seen my nieces gain a healthy confidence to stand up for themselves and others when they see someone being wronged. I see my nephew believe that hard work is the only way to achieve goals... I know they have amazing parents & family to instill these values, but I also believe their experiences and teachers at UFMA have contributed to all of this. I cannot wait to see them get their black belts, but I what I love even more is seeing them learn so many other valuable lessons.

We have been very happy with everything United has offered our kids over the last year. And today I just wanted to say a big thank you for holding my son's party. From the decorations to the food and mostly the teachers, the whole experience was top notch. Absolutely everything was done for us... great pizza, chips, paper plates, decorations, even candles and a lighter were provided. All the teachers, particularly Miss. Amanda, were so tuned in to the kids. They never missed a beat and kept all the kids entertained happy and safe. Sam felt oh so special and is still very proud of the magical birthday strength that came over the dojo, which allowed him and his friends win a tug of war against black belts. Such a great time. Thank you.
