Thank you so much for a great Friday round!! And also for outfitting me with new shoes when I lost my sole after the first nine! Lovely course, outstanding staff and service, and it might be a stretch to say thanks for keeping the weather at bay, but we're so grateful to get in a full 18 before the floods came. We will definitely be back, those lake views were really something!!

Ever since Golf north took over the management of this course they have driven the experience into the ground. The course and surroundings used to be meticulously maintained but to cut costs they have severely reduced this. Used to be a hidden gem now it’s a turd.

What a great place to play! The holes are scenic and challenging. The staff is terrific! I met the pro shop manager and the superintendent and they both welcomed me to the course. The girls in the pro shop are great. Play the course once and you'll play it again.

Played 18 holes here today. Enjoyed the first nine, the first tee off time for the day 8:30 a.m. When we arrived at the tee to begin our 2nd nine the two of us were behind the mens' day group of several foursomes, so one of the men suggested we proceed past the first 4 hole to get ahead of them and finish the first 4 holes at the end of our round. We appreciate this courtesy and started to drive our cart down the first fairway. Some one yelled at us from behind "Where are you going" ? We turned around and this person told us that he was the marshall. We explained that someone told us to go ahead. He went into a major ramble about how he was in charge, made all the decisions and that we could not go ahead. We tried to explain what was going on but he very ignorant, insulting and unprofessional in speaking to us. He further went on to tell us that he had been there 17 years and was the only one in charge of Kings Bay course. After finally being able to explain what we were doing, he told us to go to the 7th hole. He wanted to be the boss, it seemed. We ended up backtracking to the 5th hole as the first gentleman had suggested and finished our round as planned and got in no ones way. Sorry about the long story, but I needed to explain how some unprofessional, power hungry no-it-all can turn a golfing experience unnecessarily into a bad day. Someone like this marshall reflects very poorly on Kings Bay golf course and I would never play there again or suggest to any on else to play there.

In August our golf group took a trip to Seagrave to play King's Bay and what a fantastic experience it was. Lisa and her staff could not have been more helpful in providing our group of 28 golfers the very best service and went beyond our expectations to make our day a memorable event, This is a lovely course and was in excellent condition when we played in spite of the drought conditions that we experienced this summer. We look forward to returning to Ki9ng's Bay next year. Take the drive. You won't be disappointed. Neville White ORGL Golf
