Nice place. No tv cablevision, no Wi-Fi in camp sites!

Roadtrip. We had a two options: drive all the way to Ottawa or stay at Rideau Acres Campground. We choose to stay and it was one of the most memorable camping experiences of this trip. Campground has it all: Convenient store, showers, washrooms, laundry, swimming pool, playground, RV sites, tent sites, covered BBQ areas, well maintained lawns and ponds filled by farm birds (beware of GOOSE!:). Our tent campsite was away from others, located right on the shore of the Colonel By Lake so we enjoyed of one of the most beautiful sunsets beside fire pit, that you can imagine. Warm and quiet night with no flies or mosquitoes.

Went here for a wedding. Very pretty venue. You can see other guests at the campground during the ceremony but they did temporarily shut down the pool or at least it was very quiet. An assortment of wildlife is on the lawn by the water, makes it interesting. Alcohol is served at functions. Very nice assortment. Food was delicious for a wedding.

A very nice campground. One of the best we've stayed at. It's close to many things in the Kingston/Gananoque area. The sites were large enough with good hookups. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very well maintained and a great place to go for a walk. My only concern was the shower heads. They are energy saving shower heads that either need to be cleaned out or replaced.

Stayed in October 2017. Our stay was an overnight stop in the off season so we largely had the park to ourselves. There are a number of permanent units which for the most part appear well kept and tidy. The lake side location is beautiful. Our spot was clean, level and with easy proximity to the hook ups. Services worked without problem. The pull thru site was easy to get in and out of. The roads were gravel and easily navigated. There were mature trees in our section, however, they were not hanging down to the point where they would touch our tall motorhome. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
