Recently ate at Rooth’s restaurant. The service and food were good. But the restaurant has really bad acoustics. There were about 20 people at the bar and you could hardly hear your conversation. People seemed to be yelling louder and louder to be heard. I guess it could be fixed if they recognized the problem and took some steps to correct it. Otherwise we would only go back if we could eat outside. They sure do have a great view.

My favorite course in WNY. First time I played there was 2011 and it was 5 stars then. Now all the added amenities make it the best public course I have ever played at. Coolers on the cart are very convenient. The play is challenging, but the course yardage book (3$) is extremely helpful and makes the course easier to navigate especially if you don't play there often. Course is in pristine condition all the time. Warming up is easy, they have a large grass range and a large putting green right by the first tee. My only complaint is it isn't closer to my house.

Well designed and maintained course which lives up to the claim of the best greens in Buffalo. It is an enjoyable play for beginners and is challenging enough for seasoned golfers. There are enough hazards to keep it interesting, but not so many that duffers get intimidated. Decent restaurant. Fair prices on greens fees. Haven't been through the pro shop. Don't bring your own beer unless you can find a way to get it into the coolers on the carts without being seen. They are pretty strict with the NYSLA rules. As it's owned by a personal injury attorney, that's not surprising. Will play here again.
