Sometimes you are just meant to meet certain people in life. This is how I feel about my chiropractic relationship with Dr. Fiona Chan. Since 2012, I had been suffering from severe numbness in my left arm and hand to the point where over extension over my head was not possible. This caused my daily life to be very difficult. I found Dr. Chan by accident 2 years ago. I was looking through Cornell Community Centres aqua programs, hoping that aqua fit would relieve my pain. Upon registering, I was told that it was mandatory to do an assessment with the a Chiropractor. I groaned at the fact that there was a prerequisite but thought to myself, why not? Just get a second opinion. Fast forward to today, it is because of Dr. Chan's extensive knowledge of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome that I finally could put a name to my pain. Because of this, I was able to bring this assessment to my family doctor who referred me to a specialist who within 2 seconds, knew exactly what the problem was. Unionville Health Centre saved my life and my sanity. It provided me the ability to life my life to the fullest. They are a well oiled run clinic for all your physio, chiro needs.
