Losing a loved one is hard enough. Then to have to go through an estate battle with an awful lawyer was a suffering I would not wish on anyone. That is why I need to share - do not use this lawyer! He accomplished nothing, constantly made errors both in facts and simple spelling and grammar. My sibling and I both worked for lawyers in the past in university and this is the most unorganized, overpriced, disrespectful, lazy, unsympathetic, lawyer I have ever come across. Firing him was the best decision we made. Our new lawyer resolved things quickly, realistically and for less money than we had to pay him to do nothing but make our lives worse. Save yourself the time, money and most importantly pain.

I rarely write reviews but after the horrible experience I had and reading his other reviews I realize my dealings with this lawyer were not a one off. Save yourself much aggravation and do not use this lawyer. I contacted him a year ago to request 3 certified copies of my father’s will after he passed away. That is all I asked for. I did not ask any legal questions of him. The normal charge for this should be $50-60. Eleven months later I received a bill for $226. When I inquired about the invoice he claimed that he opened an account after I called. He billed for a 20 minute conversation when I called to request copies of the will. He did all the talking on this call and he actually spent most of this time telling me about a previous legal matter he handled for my parents and how complicated it was which was actually a breach of confidentiality. And then he claimed he was also billing for his time reviewing the file. He actually became argumentative at my questions about the invoice. And I see from a previous review he blocked another client’s emails when they questioned his billing practices. Completely unprofessional.

He spelled my name wrong on documents, and then blamed my dead mother for giving him that wrong spelling- even though we share the same last name and hers is spelled correctly. In my opinion, his attention to detail is completely lacking and when he didn't want to hear from me or my brother, with earnest questions regarding billing, he blocked our emails.
