We recently used Michael Abram’s services for the purchase of our new home in Ottawa. I am so happy my realtor recommended him to us because we had such a great experience. Michael and his assistant were very prompt at answering any of our questions and very good at explaining the steps of the sale to ensure everything went smoothly. Our lender gave us a bit of a run around towards the closing date and Michael was able to get all the paperwork in order on time despite the delays from the bank. This is the third lawyer I’ve used for a sale/ purchase of a home and By far the best experience. 10/10!!

Michael Abrams has helped me sell and buy multiple homes and he and his team are always so wonderful to work with. Any time I have a question Mike has been available, he responds incredibly fast and he is kind and patient when answering my many questions! I have worked with other real estate lawyers and they have always been so hard to reach without going through many assistants and receptionists. My mother recently passed away, dealing with this has been very difficult. I turned to Kelly Santini for guidance to go through the probate process. Anne Shea sent us a form to sign for retaining their services but I first wanted to discuss a few things with Mike D’Aloisio to make sure he was able to take this on. We first had a Zoom meeting and he answered the questions that I needed, so it was confirmed he was able to proceed. I then dropped off the appropriate paper work (November 26/21) and notified him through email that it was dropped off. I needed to collect some more paper work for him, so I did that right away and got it back to him on (December 13/21). That was the last contact I had received from them. Today, January 12/22 I sent out an email to touch base on the progress. I received an email back that nothing had been done to this date since I had not signed a paper for them to move forward. They then apologized for not getting back to me about this final step. So in the end they have been sitting with my paper work for over 2 months with no progress and they hadn’t reached out to me about needing this final signature, I had to reach out to them. I am very disappointed with my experience and lack of communication. I proceeded to pick up my paper work and take it to another lawyer.
