I have had a good experience with Terri and the group. As a walk-in, they provided me with a better rate than my previous insurer. Simple evaluation and excellent client care which is rare in nthe world of customer service. My insurance rate was lower than Intact (a broker) and SF .(direct).No hassles if you are honest with your driving record, have zero to limited claims or accidents (mine is perfect as I am lol) If you are looking to scam an insurance agent or carrier, look elsewhere. I had a SF insured taxi driver plough into me on my motorcycle. He was charged with carless driving and after 6 years, his insurance company (SF) finaly settled with my insurance company (SF) for peanuts. Cheap insurance should not be the driving force behind coverage. Evaluate the policy. Allstate was balanced with good governance within their policy and rates. Just my take on the whole insurance quagmire. :|

Terrible customer service. Rude over the phone. I spoke with a manager today, Terri I believe. We had indicated back in December that we would not be renewing our policy which was up at the end of the month. This month, January they have tried twice to take a payment from an account we are currently closing down so there are no funds in it. We have now gotten charged twice for NSF fees. I called Allstate first thing to take care of it and the manager was so rude. Kept cutting me off until I asked her if she was going to let me finish. She then kind of laughed and said, I will let you finish. If your going to go with Allstate don’t use this office. Better yet, call Jae Pepin at Cambridge Insurance. He was so good, quick, listened to us and really took care of us. He was also able to get us a better rate and coverage anyway.

Overall greatly unsatisfied with the customer service here. I have not been given direct or proper information on numerous counts now, much of the wrong advice had me paying for multiple forms/reports that I didn't even need - only because they wont even give you a chance to finish your thought before interrupting with "solutions" . Seems to me like they are using a quick-in-and-out model...

Absolutely the worst company in the name of insurance. It took these incompetent people 3 months to take a vehicle off my policy after I stated and signed off multiple times that I did not have the vehicle no longer- was trying to get me to pay insurance for a car I did not have. I went in an signed off on everything and they still were too incompetent to take it off my policy saying that they didn't receive anything from me (bold face lie!). Sure enough, I started recording all conversations I was having with these people. On top of that, they jacked my rates (no claims or tickets whatsoever) claiming that they were giving me discounts in which they shouldn't have. Talk about treating your clients well. They are extremely difficult to deal with and I highly suggest to stay away from these guys (this branch specifically). The only positive thing I can say is that All State offers something cool that nobody else offers which is a "disappearing deductible". So for every year you don't make an at-fault claim, they kick $100 off your deductible. My deductible was $500 originally but being two years without any at-fault claims, my deductibles went down to $300. Still, this wasn't enough to keep me as a client. They jacked my rates because of their incompetents and just couldn't offer anything to keep me. I've never experienced such horrendous customer service from an insurance company. Simply the worst. Sorry All State, I'm a very reasonable and understanding person but you guys just flat out suck. I'm going in right now to cancel my home and auto policies. I got a way better rate with somebody else and I'm sure their customer service will be better too.
