Was rejected for life insurance due to past minor mental illness/ because I smoke LEGAL marijuana a couple times a week. Basically if you aren’t a perfect person you will be rejected. Although after reading the other comments written here I am happy to not have to be involved with this company. Don’t waste your time with them!

Rates are fine but service is horrible. Pipe burst in early August and still waiting to get approval for work to be done. Left two messages and sent two emails within a couple weeks to the person they said was assigned to my case. Had questions about the process and wanted some information; never made a claim before and wanted to know how things worked. No response. Called again, voicemail said to contact someone else as he was out of office. Phoned and emailed new person-no response. Now it’s three months later, all we’ve been told (by a different person, the first two people never responded at all) is we can’t do any work until the quote is approved. They truly don’t care and I can’t wait to wrap this up and change companies.

The rates Are ridiculously high. I added my spouse as a secondary driver 2 years ago, when we asked for the insurance history to switch companies, he wasn’t listed on it! Now we have to list him as a new driver and our new rates are higher as a result, although they are still over 100 dollars cheaper than we were paying with wawanesa. Stay far away.

The worst insurance company I've been involved with. I got hit by a driver who idmited and claimed responsibility and was fined for her actions and I've been stuck paying for a car for a year now that I no longer have because it was totaled and written off. Stay away from this company
