I worked here for 8 months, owners Debbie and Lisa are arguably criminals and openly discussed scamming people. They stole mass personal information of customers from Liberty Mutual Insurance back in about 2004

Insurance went up 40% due to unauthorized changes. After several attempts to resolve, I switched insurance. Now I have to pay a cancellation fee for a policy I never agreed to or be liable for cancellation for non-payment. CHECK YOUR POLICY EVERY YEAR. Not the first time we have had overcharges.

I have been with Robinson & Associates for approximately nine years. In the beginning the service was quite pleasant and positive. However, in July 2018 I was called by a representative of Robinson and Associates explaining that my insurance company that I was with no longer wished to carry my policy, as my home was a Century Home. They asked for permission to shop it around and at the end of a two week period, the best they could find me was just over double in price compared to what I was paying. When I inquired about this, the rep told me it was the best they could do. I explained at this time I would be shopping for a better rate elsewhere. I felt I had no choice but to sign this new policy even though the price was outrageous because I simply couldn’t be without insurance. Having a mortgage with a financial institution demands that you have updated and current insurance coverage. Going without was simply not an option. When the new insurance company that Robinson & Associates had signed me with took the first payment, the representative of Robinson & Associates put the wrong account number down on the direct withdrawal form, so that the payment bounced because the account was inactive. It was a very unhappy experience, so I began to look for another insurance company. It was a very short time before I found another company to handle my insurance needs, both home and auto, all at substantial savings for exactly the same product. The current policy through Robinson & Associates was cancelled on September 30, 2018 and I was told at that time a refund will be processed and sent to me. It is now November 6, I have exchanged several emails and had several phone calls with my representative at Robinson & Associates and have been given numerous explanations/excuses as to why the refund had not been processed, all of which changes with each passing correspondence. Now my representative no longer answers my emails and doesn’t follow up on any of my questions. They have taken nearly $2000 in payments, I have not seen any refund. If I could leave a ZERO STAR evaluation I would most certainly do so. I would steer well clear of using Robinson & Associates for your insurance broker needs. Wayne

We use Robinson and Associates for our home and business insurance. We love them! Whenever we have a question or need to update/make changes, they do it promptly. My favourite thing about them is calling and knowing exactly who is on the other side of the phone and who is handling our paperwork. They also make house calls. They look out for our best interests and we couldn't be happier!
