Its been over 30 plus years since I have had to make claim, OMG, what a different experience than yesteryear's. It's now a one stop appraisal, drop off, and pickup the car rental. I know it's similar as the past, but the difference is the look and atmosphere. It feels more like a modern small airport terminal. The staff were very friendly, courteous and accommodating. They answered every question I had without feeling I'm bothering them. A big smile and thank you to the Intact/Belair service centre.

UPDATE: My concerns went unanswered by Belairdirect, and the repairs to my car still not satisfactory. I am just so tired of dealing with this company. It has now been nearly three months and I am still unable to get a full resolution. I am getting the run-around and being flat-out ignored when communicating with the company. Dropping my rating to a single star. "I'm really sorry you chose us". Those were the words of the service agent I dealt with this morning when calling for an update on my vehicle's second repair visit (for the same repair job). Their service experts are supposed to review the repair job before returning the vehicle to the client to ensure that it is "perfect". They completely missed the fact that the paint job was not the correct color. On my second visit, I was told not to worry as the paint specialists can match the color perfectly. Why didn't they do it the first time around, I asked... No answer. Why wasn't this detected during the quality inspection? On my second visit, I was told it would take longer than expected to repaint, so I had to make a third appointment. This service center is located 46km away from my home, a total of 92km round-trip. After this is all said and done, I will have driven a total of 460km (at least) to have my car repaired. The round-trip distance would have been acceptable if the job would have been done right the first time. When I first got my car back, the interior of the car was littered with debris that fell from nearby trees as they kept my windows open for some reason. I have a brand new car. There was 600kms when I got rear-ended. More time wasted having the clean the interior of the car when I returned home. The service center decided a $25 gas card would be ample compensation for my troubles. I didn't realize my time was worth so little to them. Not to mention the amount of gas wasted going to and from the service center. I really hope I don't have to come back again. I gave an extra star (total, 2-star) because on my third attempt to get the car repaired, they came all the way to my house to pick up the car. It was a nice gesture, but unfortunately lost in the cluster of mishaps throughout the process. This review doesn't even include the abundance of issues I have had just processing the claim with the claims department.

I was undecided whether to go to Car dealership or Belair Direct Service Centre(BDSC) for collision repair. Under friends advise, I am glad I chose the Belair Service Centre. It was white glove service from start to finish for car rental, repair work. All the staff were highly professional. Everything was happening so smoothly that I had to rush through their excellent coffee and snacks!! Honestly, I haven't had such great customer service experience in a long while. Highly recommended.
