Bank is close and convenient. Staff is pleasant. Phoning in is impossible. I have just wasted half an hour of my time trying to get through to make an appointment listening to irritating music. Someone will have to phone me. I'm late for an appointment. You need to fix this problem. At least let someone leave a message!!!

Ongoing problem with my account......I am a struggling senior and when $400 did not go into my account they are saying it is my problem. They admitted fault but it is still my problem. Protecting yourself from scammers is hard enough but when your own bank is taking your funds that were transferred from another person to you.....who do you need to protect yourself from. The person in question actually showed my their bank account and the funds left and were never returned. Royal has the funds....has seemingly lost them.....but its my problem.

I'm new client of RBC and I go to the Innisfil branch in particular because it's couple of minutes away from where I live however my problem with this branch is I need to book an appointment with them at least three or four weeks in advance for very little straight forward application; which is still fine I can work with that but it gets really frustrating when I get to the branch in this case I booked the appointment eight weeks in advance and the person I'm meeting is not in the branch and no one bothered to call me ahead of time to reschedule... hopefully not all RBC branches are like this. I've dealt with BMO and TD in the past and with both banks I was able to just drop by whenever it was convenient for me and there was always someone happy to work with me.

It’s a bank don’t expect any deals and remember there is a reason why they make millions quarterly so if it’s not in their best interest they won’t do it !!
