The quality of this branch has been consistently reaching for the lowest quality possible and I firmly believe theyâ€™re getting there. On top of unaccomadating staff, now they let real estate agents stand around in their branch and accost the customers that are there to do BANKING not real estate. Wow. How annoying and unprofessional. Iâ€™ve been using this branch for over 25 years and Iâ€™m starting to think about switching banks altogether, not just branches. They used to be great here but the current manager is letting it slip

I can never seem to walk into this branch and have the ability to see someone within an hour. Horrible waiting time to see a financial service rep/advisor. I would recommend booking an appointment if you have to do even a simple service transaction (ie. withdrawing from any investment).

I wouldn't even bother with the 1 star. I came to this branch for a business matter. Basically I got a run around from inexperienced agents which involved me coming to this bank twice and then being sent to another branch where my issue was also not resolved. I was then instructed by another branch to return to this one where once again my check was not cashed. Let the record show that the Check was made out to my Business from my client who banks with CIBC. I'm not surprised that all the CIBC branches have fairly low ratings. Good for them. In an industry which is slowly dying and moving to Blockchain, it's no wonder people are irritated in their dealings with banks. Understand the logic, I'm coming to you to cash a check which only has to be verified by the senders institution, the check is actually issued from a client banking with CIBC, but some people are far too lazy and scared to take the risk in cashing a check. So take the time to verify the funds or get out of this business.
