Very nice bank, and very modern, you will see a bunch of reviews saying customer service sucks, but they really improved and now it is great

Been banking with bmo for years and they still are the same. Wait times are always waaaay to long, i never get a call back when i leave a message. Half of your addresses arent listed on google, the bank near my house doesnt operate on their actual hours of operation and continue to lie and leave work early, so when you say you close at 4 and i take my lunch break just sort stuff out and waste all of it to find out you closed early as i called ahead earlier in the morning, when i get off at work at 5 everyday and you close at 5 that doesnt help either. staff are nice but the buisness is poor. It feels like a dead bank almost, or at least on its way there. Needs many updates and for this change your providing bank. RBC or even scotia is way better tl serve you.

I cannot believe this place. I went in there as a student trying to make a credit card, I knew exactly how it all worked and the teller told me that I was for sure going to be accepted. Two weeks later I get a call from BMO saying I'm not accepted. Although I had all the requirements. So I went over to CIBC a week later, got accepted on the spot, and my new credit card arrived in the mail the next week. This place is awful, go with another bank you'll be much better off.

The people at the kiosks are friendly and nice. But everyone in the offices are undertrained and have no idea how to service a customer. After 25 years with TD and RBC I thought I would give BMO a shot, after opening myself and my family accounts we closed and moved away from BMO within one month. Could be that this particular branch is just terrible but it's the closest one to where we live. Furthermore, we had to write a letter the the board of BMO with all the troubles we had with this branch highlighting one of their employees that was off the charts rude and disrespectful to me and my family.
