Nobody EVER EVER answers the phone. I work in an extremely busy design office and I take each and every call. BMO needs to answer their phones with an actual human voice. They also promised a pre-approved loan, told me to go ahead and put major vehicle repairs into motion - only to decline my loan application because I was paying $100.00 too much in FRO. This created major financial strain and killed my otherwise excellent credit rating. My friend had a very similar experience, and lost his home. BMO....please just answer your phones !!!!! David from Hamilton.

When it's not busy there they are relatively okay and competent and you get your transaction done quickly enough with little aggravation . However it doesn't take much to get them busy since they all seem to take lunch at once and when they do get busy you will be there for a long time. Much longer than other banks.

Always a long lineup, never anyone working. Staff don't know what they are doing so oftentimes it's 2 staff helping one customer.

5 months later and this bank is still super slow. Just watched 2 people give up and walk out because they can’t handle the wait time. If it wasn’t for my employer banking here, I would of switched banks ages ago. Get more staff during Lunch and around rush hour.
