If I could pick a negative star amount, it would be - 1000 ⭐️ This bank is the absolute worst for customer service or anything needing the attention of a financial advisor or manager. The tellers are always great, the people in the offices don’t give a pile of beans about anyone’s personal situations and why they need access to their OWN money. They discriminate on people with the lowest balances or those who withdraw. And their “processes” are their to stall, ignore, scheme or otherwise. You can even catch them in a lie or mistake and don’t expect an apology or ANY professional etiquette. After a mobile deposit, even if you show them the actual check in person and let them hold it in their hand, they won’t take the hold off account because of their “process”. So their processes fail the customers and it’s pretty sad when a bank official can’t correct a mistake because of a process! Like a bunch of monkeys running a banana stand!

Long lineup but the teller was helpful and was getting the job done, only to have a random guy approach me in a creepy way and ask about my banking and what I am doing with any money I may have, harassing me and asking personal questions with no introduction at all, to later find out that was the manager. Horrible example for his employees and a very uncomfortable experience.

Spoke with 2 representatives, neither could help with my issue at hand. 1 representative said he could help, then hung up on me and made no attempt to call me back. I've also left a voicemail with the assistant manager michelle, requesting an appointment and have yet to get a call back. 21 years banking with Scotiabank now coming to a quick end.
