Exceptionally long wait time, even though you might only be one person waiting in line. Very poor customer service. You can have 5 to 6 tellers at their desks, but only 1 or 2 will be working with customers. Loads of walking and talking. Personnel is not very knowledgeable too.

The staff members does not know anthing i think. My cheque was on hold and i called to customer service, they were saying that go to branch they will release your cheque and i visit to this branch, they waste my 45 minutes and after that they said we can not do anything and they were just blaiming to phone customer service representatives, and when i called them they were saying that they have access to do that why they said like this to you. And then the security department release my cheque when i called them three times. I do not know how they are running the bank. I request to others that do not waste your time by visiting their branch.

I wasted over a month with their mortgage specialist Peter . He had no idea what gifted nor anything else meant. They tried to tell me I was only approved for a much smaller amount then TD bank did. I went with TD and strongly recommend never having anything to do with RBC. Believe me the difference in customer service and knowledge are great. Peter and Peter, get another job boys.

Always very long wait times for a teller. When they are finished with someone at the counter they sit there for long periods of time to finish up their paperwork, I assume, without even looking up to acknowledge people are waiting. I’m used to banks like TD and Scotiabank... when a client walks away from the counter they are ready for the next one. Plan to be in line at rbc for a long time.
