I walked in off Yonge and asked if they could replace my beat-up old Tangerine bank card. A little while later (maybe 15 minutes and one phone call) I walked out with a brand-spanking-new card all pristine and orange, linked to my account and activated at the in-house machine. I had friendly efficient service here from the staff. They do have Tangerine bank machines but they are a little bit older than the scotiabank ones and require envelopes for deposits. Overall a nice place for Tangerine customers.

It's been 8 years now that I'm with them. I took advantage of an offer giving me fifty dollars to try them. All went well and I ended up leaving my banking institution to stop paying unnecessary fees. You also can get $50 in bonus by opening your Tangerine account with an orange key and depositing $100. To start saving, open your account now at Tangerine Bank with my Orange key 40585606S1

I guess anything free would mean all kinds of trouble like this bank. Needed to transfer some money into other bank account. Scotia atm won’t let me take out any money. Then called them, had to wait 30+ mints on phone (still on call waiting) while they figure it out. It’s an emergency situation and worst things is when something doesn’t work when you need it the most.

Really bad marketing. They kept sending publicity even tought I called them to stop sending their publicity. I advised their marketing department and they say they cannot stop it. I send back those letter for 5 years and they continu to send those. Bad bad marketing strategy Tangerine.

You know what would be cool? If I could use "special characters" when listing my address with this bank, and not be left without any usable form of proof of where I live when I go to vote or do anything else government-ID-related, and just to generally ensure that my bank-related mail will actually come to MY HOUSE, and not my neighbour's. One can only dream of such luxuries, I suppose.
