Worst Scotiabank branch and horrible customer Service. Especially the guy in the front counter (seated lower than other counters - I guess he was intentionally seated like that for his behaviour. Very rude person and doesn't listen to the customer. I wanted a statement about my account on a Scotiabank letterhead. He is totally incompetent and doesn't not even know what a letter head means. Had t done in a different branch. The bank should train these people how to deal with customer or fire them. Hope I can give zero stars.

I asked to close an account that I had already finished paying off. Before I finished my sentence, the teller told me there couldn't be a balance on the account. I finished putting in my pin, to which her said "Oh. ok, you need to call the number on the back of your card". That didn't make any sense. To call in and just have an account closed, whereas to open it I have to be there with tonnes of information?!! He then went on to get approval from his other colleagues, who affirmed that I indeed had to call the number on the back of the card. No surprise to me, I was told my the person on the phone to go into the bank and close the account. That closing the account over the phone didn't make any sense!! The reason why I'm frustrated with this location, is what everyone else is saying. They are mostly incompetent, and not to mention rude. This is my money and credit. If I choose to bank with you I should be respected. I don't have to bank there. My partner has even complained by calling into their call centers, and we were told that it's not the first time they have received complaints about this branch. They need to do another round of training for those tellers, because that place is horrible.

Quite incompetent personnel when it comes to solving problems, unable to give a complete answer to a question. Sometimes they are not listening to what customers are saying. Also, they seem to be rude at some point. I had to go to Scotia Plaza to get a proper explanation of possible solutions. I would not recommend having this as your home branch.

It is the worst customer service experience, went to put money in to the credit but trying to different things that is not needed and asking me why my cards are not linked and I repeatedly told her they are and I do a lot of online banking but does not listen. They should know to listen to what customers saying first. Do not how they get jobs like this if you don't listen

Worst Customer Service. They asked me a lot of questions and verifications and in the end they didn't give me any cash I needed. They told me maybe my card is not activated. They told me to call the number at the back of the card. I called and I was told it was already activated and anyway I go I can withdraw.
