By far the worst bank I've visited. No actual tellers, instead someone had the bright idea to setup laptops and phones to have people their online banking (that, to no surprise, can be done at home) INSIDE the branch. Not only that, the one thing I asked for the only 'teller' to do (who is just the person standing at the reception) says they've done it but when I check later it hasn't been done. If you want to get any banking done go somewhere else.

I work beside the bank, and am always greeted with a warm smile, a friendly wave or a nod of the head. I used to dread going to the bank, now it's an absolute joy.

Came in to deposit some business cheques, was pleased to see complimentary coffee, but the creamer was empty, as manager greeted me I asked about creamer, he sounded genuine saying he’d check back for some. Two steps later he started a new interaction with different client and proceeded to help him as I waited with cooling coffee... I asked again and he said “I’ll get to it when I have a chance” and this replaced the first customer (myself) with another customers needs. Felt unimportant and left without coffee feeing mislead.

I dealt with Joseph Downes at this location and he did a good job for me. Maybe the guy who did not like Joseph had bad credit. He did not give any reason for a negative rating. Also this branch is much better as far as line ups and wait times are concerned then the CIBC branch closer to me in Parkdale Mall at Victoria Park and York Mills. For full disclosure I personally hate the all the big banks and especially the CIBC, not the employees at the local branches, the board of directors etc. I prefer credit Unions to the big banks but banks have bribed politicians to make it illegal for credit unions to compete with them, so I have no alternative but to deal with the big bank that has most branches and bank machines in my area.
