I opened up an account here at the Scotiabank today. And after dealing with an other bank in town for 9 years that starts with a B and ends in O. I forgot how it felt to be appreciated. Before my appointment i sat in the lobby and watched to see how people where treated. And every one left the wicket with a smile " Good Sign! And while sitting for only maybe 10 minutes i had been asked about 4 time if i had been looked after and if not was there anything they could do. When i was greeted by the person i had my appointment with she met me with a ferm handshake and a warm smile. What a great way to start a business relationship. Im very impressed with the hole experience. I know in my heart and by the way i was treated I made the right choice.

Some staff are great others extremely ignorant, long line ups if your coming here expect it to take 20 mins to cash your cheques.

Called at 9:30 am on a Monday morning to make an appointment with a financial advisor. Extremely difficult automated voice messaging service to get through to find after waiting 10 minutes I was put through to someone who did not speak english as a first language and also did not work at my local branch, which I assumed by the area code and phone number I dialed I would be dealing with. I told the person on the phone my situation and had informed me I was going to be re routed to the branch I as trying to call. Not the Case. I found myself starting the voice automated phone system all over again.
