My husband and I have been dealing with the TD bank on Lansdowne for a number of years and moved to the North End of Peterborough about 8 years ago. We still go to our original bank but also go to the one on Chemong frequently too as it is closer. I also like the fact that the line ups are shorter and the tellers are extremely friendly. I came to this site to check on the closing times and noticed the number of negative reviews, and couldn't just let them go without giving my two cents worth. I have NEVER had an occasion to say anything bad about this bank.

The employees at this location are polite and appear helpful, but they're not very effective. My wife has been trying to open an account at this branch for over a month now without success. We've called the main TD helpline for updates and on two separate occasions they've confirmed that they haven't received the documents from the Chemong TD branch. You would think that it would be a part of the TD branch employee's workflow to actually confirm receipt of documentation after submission. OR follow up if weeks pass without progress. We've heard "the account will be all set up by next week at the latest" for almost 5 weeks now.

Garbage, straight the point. This branch will waste your time .

Waited 20 minutes in line, bank was empty. Only bank I've ever been too where there are two people goofing off at one wicket. I just walked out and went to rbc down the street to buy change. Thanks for wasting my time, glad I'm not with this bank.
