We've been coming here for almost two years and it was fine. Last month they called asking us to renew our son's taekwondo membership early, so we payed for another year up front. We showed up for class a couple of weeks after that and discovered they had fired the awesome teacher my son has been with for 5 years (the whole reason we came to OAMA), and totally cancelled the class . All without any communication - and then discovered they were refusing to give us a refund. What a terrible way to treat loyal clients and the kids you're supposed to care about.

My son's tkd instructor was let go suddenly. Despite the fact that OAMA sends its clients multiple emails on a weekly basis (spam), they made absolutely NO effort to communicate with tkd students or parents about this sudden departure . We simply went in one day and were told classes were cancelled indefinitely. Thankfully our contract had just come to an end and we were not on the hook for payment. Many parents pre paid in advance and have been told that there will be no refunds under any circumstances. An absolute rip -off! Whatever the reason the instructor was let go, there should have been better communication with clients. Zero respect for the customer. Obviously all about the $$. Plenty of other schools. Take your hard - earned money elsewhere... We have!

HORRIBLE PLACE, nothing but thieves and scammers I suggest you invest in sending your child some where else.

Top notch training. Great coaches, attracts people from all walks of life (have professional and amateur fighters as well as your "average joe" looking for a great workout). I unfortunately had to move from Ottawa but would return their to continue my training any day of the week! You know a school is great when they have dozens and dozens of members fighting pro/amateur... says a lot.

Feeling Robbed. After my hapkido instructor & son's taekwando instructor left, I requested a refund as they no longer offered hapkido and his lessons were now off site. This was their reply " After meeting with the senior management, and considering the options we are offering to our members ,no refunds will be issued. We also need to not forget that OAMA, made these changes, for the safety of our members. This is my final correspondence concerning refunds" No willingness to even discuss. Now I am out 6 months of prepaid payments for myself and son with a value of roughly $750. I have emailed to say I am not pleased with this outcome and asked for contact information of someone higher in the chain I can discuss this with. They have yet to respond...
