We recently had the opportunity to consult with Cole at Chateau regarding a sizeable project we have planned for the spring involving siding, roofing, and E/S/F. He was prompt in returning calls and emails as well as courteous in answering our questions and addressing any concerns we had regarding product choices, warranty information, pricing, etc. Cole took the time to provide us with the level of service we were looking for and even went to bat for us in terms of pricing the job as competitively as possible, seeing as we had received a few other quotes and were down to it being between Chateau and one other company. In the end we chose the other company however I have no problem whatsoever recommending Chateau to anyone looking for a company to tackle their roofing and/or siding projects. And although I certainly didn't have to write this review, given that we didn't choose them, I felt it appropriate to comment on how positive the experience was nonetheless. Simply put, we were faced with a choice between two very reputable companies in whom we had complete confidence, who were each offering us competitive pricing. In the end we simply couldn't hire them both. That's the way it goes sometimes but I thought it was still worth commenting on Chateau's positive approach to customer service and to ensuring our satisfaction. I give them full marks for this and will recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.

So far - I'm a satisfied customer! My neighbours are all commenting how much they love my new roof and so do I. It took me a while to decide which company to go with. I did my homework, drove around the neighbourhood and saw some "bad" roofing jobs and drove around and looked at roofs that Chateau completed. So glad I decided to go with Chateau

We had Chateau come out and repair the roof they put on in 2012. We have had numerous problems with it such as leaking, shingles coming off and apart to name a few. They sent someone out and he asked how long we planned on living there? We said a long time as we just bought the house. He said he would repair the roof another time and did not show up for 5 weeks, until it rained and another section of shingles came off. The worker called me and told me that he discovered a hole and that he would bout silicone in it for an additional $300.00 to the $300.00 he was already charging me. I called Chateau and the owner took the side of the worker. I paid the amount that I was quoted of $300.00 and thought the matter was resolved. What ensued the worker calling several times including showing up at my door a couple of times to speak with me. We had another roofing company evaluate the roof and were told that it was not repaired or put on properly but that Chateau should repair it free of charge. We did not want to see anyone from Chateau again so we payed out of pocket to have our roof repaired in the two locations that Chateau had done the repairs on. I would not recommend Chateau from the experience we had. Not sure if we were an isolated case but the work spoke for itself.

I would never use this company nor would I ever recommend them. They did my neighbors roof 2 weeks ago and they were very disrespectful on my property. I get home from work one day and their trailer is parked in MY driveway. They come back to finish the job 5 days later ... there was more debris and garbage in my yard than the neighbors actually getting their roof done. I observed them all day walking on MY roof and working without harnesses on a very steep roof. Instead of parking on the street they once again parked their vehicle in MY driveway.I have sent them numerous emails and pictures and still have yet to hear from them. My opinion ... The worst company to hire to do your roof. Obviously they don't care how they do business or how their contractors represent them!!!

I contacted Chateau on two occasions and received prompt, courteous and professional service both times.
