Used AA towing to relocate storage containers a few times, staff was friendly and accommodating. Will use them again as needed

Feb 2, 2015
I was run off the road today near Harvey by an 18 wheeler that fishtailed going around a corner, they kept going and I ended up in a ditch. I will give AA towing props for being the first Fredericton towing company willing to travel the whole way to come pull me out. Luckily for me a truck came by sooner than the tow truck and was able to pull me out. By this time I had been sitting there for a couple of hours waiting and my phone was about to die. I was also thankful that the damage was only superficial and was able to continue along my way. Before taking off I gave the guys at AA towing a call back to let them know I would no longer need a tow. The guy on the end of the line immediately began swearing at me stating that it was too bad and I would still need to pay for the services. I obviously hung up the phone. Not sure when it became appropriate to cuss out a paying customer. They then called me back saying that I owed them $100, instead of the over $200 they'd have originally charged me, as a cancellation fee and threatened to call the RCMP if I didn't pay. I'm not sure when it became common practice to swear at and insult a paying customer and will not be paying for their services. Though, I happily would have had they politely informed me of their cancellation fee on the phone.
