Booked an hour couples massage. Massage Started late. The masseuses talked throughout- not relaxing. My masseuse left halfway through when someone came in. After 5 min and after putting the new client in a room, my masseuse came back and told me she would need to cut my massage to 45 min so she could attend to the new client. It felt like a 30 min massage. I just laid there until my wife's massage ended. I was charged for a 45 min massage, which is only $5 less than the hour massage. The next day my back hurt. Disrespectful and unprofessional. I won't return. My wife enjoyed her massage.

When we arrived, everything seemed to be under construction: tarps and painter's tape everywhere. The person who was supposed to be working the counter was sitting in another room playing with her phone. She didn't know English and seemed to insist we pay cash, instead of letting us know the card machine wasn't working (more on this shortly). She pointed to a service menu, which included a distinction between "massage" and "deep tissue massage", and the prices for each service in cash vs credit/debit. We were led through the shop, into the back, and up to the apartments, where it seemed operations were running. I was led behind a room divider in the living room, and my partner waited in the kitchen, and was later escorted to a bedroom. My masseuse didn't know what she was doing; she pressed on my spine, and when I asked her to stop, she didn't understand, only asked if I wanted it harder. Scented baby oil was used as lubricant. My partner had a similar experience, with the notable difference of being asked if a massage was "all" that was desired. I guess we should have picked up on the clues earlier. When we went to pay, the card machine wouldn't work. I'm not sure if this is by design, or if my bank just blocked the transaction, because I later received calls from my bank asking if there were any suspicious transactions--thankfully the payment didn't go through. The massage left me with a headache and pain in my back from where she pressed on my spine. I also had a worrisome tingling sensation in my arm for a day afterward and generally felt ill. My partner found the entire experience amusing. I would give -5/5 stars, but Google won't let me give fewer than one.
