I've been going to this location since I moved here in February 2018. Quick service and no appointments needed, so I returned to this location because of this.
The reason I'm giving 1 star: When I first walked into the shop, a women was in the waiting area and told me "he's just having a smoke break." Im sorry, but you do not leave a customer in store alone when you are the only one on shift (especially when you haven't serviced them yet). Secondly, after the stylist finished my quick trimm of my undercut; he said Sorry, but he is going to have to charge me more than the last visit (which was $5 more).
The Stylist said it was the previous Stylist not charging enough and he would have a word with him. Which would be fine, except I've had my Undercut trimmed by 5 different Stylists at this location...including him! It's always been the same price, so a $5 increase is no what I expected...especially waiting till after to mention it.
I don't know why he all of a sudden decided to increase the cost of my undercut trim. Ive been in Customer service over 15yrs and I find this to be distasteful.
I suggest in the future, honor the pricing you have previously charged the client multiple times (even if it is an error...it is not the clients fault). You can then kindly mention that future shaves /cuts will be at an increased price (no need to throw other stylists under the bus).
In the future, if I ever decide to go back to this location, I will make sure to see a different stylist. Also, ask for pricing before I sit in the chair.
