Well lets begin with if I could rate this travel agency a 0 I would do so in a heart beat. My friends and I wanted to take a trip to Mexico and because we had never really booked a vacation on our own before we decided to trust Marlin Travel to help us through the process to make it easier on us... little did we know that they would do such a poor job and they actually made it INSANELY difficult for us. They had little to no concept of customer service, they were supposed to offer us a price drop on our trip because we booked within a certain period of time, not only did they not offer it to us they didn't even notify us of it. Thank god my friend was watching the prices for us. This was just the beginning of the issues we experienced here. Another issue was that it took over 2 MONTHS to recieve our final invoices after we had paid for the trip which they blamed on the "system." They also after we thought we had everything squared away told me that I owed them $40 more. A third issue that we experienced here was that my name was not right on the boarding pass as per my passport which I had sent to them more then once. To get it right I had to drive in from Calgary and go in to ensure that I would be able to get on that plan. There were so many more issues but honestly do not use this agency if your hoping for someone to guide you through the process of booking a trip. RUN AWAY.

Thanks to Ellen and her fabulous team I had a dream honeymoon!!! It's so nice talking to people in person! I encourage people to stop by!!! They give you a lot of information, no pressure, and great suggestions. If you are looking to book a hoilday or special trip than Marlin Travel is the place!!!

First off.. I would like to mention the people at Marlin are super friendly and are very eager to get all the information you are looking for. I have no issues with that. However, I went in there 6 weeks ago looking for quotes on a destination wedding in April or May 2018. I was told they would have everything for me in 2 weeks. Seems reasonable enough. Fast forward to yesterday, approx. 6 weeks later, I called them to find out if there was a miscommunication. The lady I was speaking to said she would find out where my information is and call me back in 10 mins. I am still waiting for a phone call. Needless to say, I won't be using their services. A wedding is a very important day and I can't leave something this important in the hands of people who don't get that.

My girlfriend and I were watching the price on an all inclusive vacation to the Dominican and had contacted Tanya regarding the price and that we wanted to book. Some friends had already booked for a week in April so we wanted to go the same time as them to the resort they chose. I went in later that day and unfortunately the price went up so we decided to wait and watch the price again. That night around 8pm the price dropped way down to the lowest it had ever been in the 3 months we've been watching so I emailed Tanya. She emailed me back right away saying she just got home but she was nice enought to do all the work and get it booked for us right from home! She saved us alot of money and went above and beyond. This is my second time booking with Tanya and everytime we have had a great experience.
