Very polite and knowledgeable staff, good selection of bikes. Prices are very reasonable. Located ~1km from the galloping goose trail. To get to the shop, go to the waterfront air terminal then turn around to face the shore.

My wife and I recently completed the 5 day Cycle Treks Victoria-Gulf Islands tour with another couple from Timmins, Ontario. We appreciated the whole tour, 190 kms and five ferry crossings in 5 days. Routes presented were of varying degree of challenge> easy, moderate, hard and difficult, of course any rating is dependent upon one's own fitness and agility. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable, accommodations were well chosen and diners were interesting, with foods suitable for bike touring. Andrew, the owner, casual, no hype, was very interesting, sharing his anecdotal life stories. We would recommend this trip to others. Errol and Noreen, Kelowna, BC

Suggestion: If you plan on renting a bike with CycleTreks and biking back from Butchard Gardens make sure the van drops you off at the gardens before the other general bikers - in the van with you to be dropped off at the furthest point on the island bike trail - or you will not arrive at Butchard Gardens until noon having left Victoria harbour at 9:30am CycleTreks can drop you off (with your bikes) at the front of the entrance gate of Butchard Gardens if they don't want to drive through with other people in the van.
