Dec 30, 2015
Our trip was in Feb 2014 to London & Paris (I still have email proof of the things i am about to mention) Cons: - Our hotel price was increased $126 at the last minute and the description we were given was that The Central Park Hotel is located a mere stones throw away from Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens in the area of Bayswater. Both Queensway and Bayswater underground stations are situated within 3 minutes walk of the hotel. HOWEVER our hotel was actually located in Finsbury Park which wasn't a bad location per say but the hotel itself was terrible (beds were literally slanted & we joked that we slept on pizza boxes for pillows and there's more but i will keep it short) & it did not include wifi as we requested. - We had paid for our WB Studio Tour: The making of Harry Potter however 1 week before the trip we were told that they were not open at all during the entire duration of our stay in London, which was not true but they were sold out for all the days except the day we arrived so we scrambled and bought tickets ourselves. - We had booked a tour to see Stonehenge but 1 week before the trip we were told that it was not operating on that day and we had to change it. Another issue is that we followed the instructions to catch the bus at Grosvenor Victoria (hotel staff even confirmed it does stop there) however the bus did not stop there that day and we were supposed to meet at an alternate location 5 minutes walk away... so we actually missed the trip. When we called the Stonehenge tour operator for a refund we asked if they were running on the original day we had booked and they confirmed that they were but were sold out. - I feel like there was more but i've forgotten since its been 2 years. Pros: She took care of getting us our transportation?
