I originally went to EK in hopes of achieving a natural brown with little to no up keep as we are having our second baby. I never got close to what I wanted and when I went to book again to fix it I was charged for a colour correction because I put a darker colour on myself. Which I get makes hair dressers mad but I just wanted what I wanted and made sure to get a thorough explanation of the organic dye I was using. I now have paid over $200 to this salon to just have to go rebook elsewhere with no history of what they did to my hair now. Customer service is poor and the women there do not seem to care whether there customers are happy or listen to their concerns. Would not recommend this place.

Very poor customer service. When my appointment didn't go exactly as planned, I tried reaching out to the manager. They were apparently much too busy to get into contact with. I know losing me as a client won't break them, but I'm hoping I can help others make an informative decision before going to EK. Hoping they will make proactive change to their system.

I have had an awful experience here. My last visit was to continue to lighten up some blonde pop out highlights, and to add some to the front and keep going with a light to medium brown. I left with an "oops" and red hair. Red. Obviously upset, time wasted and needing to have it fixed, I called the staff. They politely assured me I would be hearing from the manager. 2 phone calls, 2 emails and 2 weeks later no one ever did respond back to me for my concerns. I am very disappointed at the lack of customer care. I am now out time and money to have my hair fixed elsewhere. Never hearing back from the manager after multiple attempts is bad business. Will not be using this service again.

Super cool and funky spot above one of the best coffee/food hangouts in town, the Garage! Jamey did a superb job and exactly what I asked for. Love it! Highly recommend her.

Lexi Watson is fantastic! All the staff are really friendly and I love the renos. You definitely feel pampered and taken care of when you visit this chic salon!
