After checking some reviews of local salons, I called Chatters Hillside and booked with Kyle. I needed my dark roots done blonde and was nervous to go to a new stylist. I AM SO IMPRESSED! Kyle was incredible! So personable and was SO educated with hair and taught me along the way why he was doing each step (I was actually floored at the amount of knowledge!). I canâ€™t wait to go back and get him to do my hair again... thank you Kyle! Chatters is lucky to have you!!!!

I've had two great experiences at Chatters in Hillside Mall. Roxy dyed my hair here almost two years ago (pictured is how the balayage has held up, without touch-ups, two years later!) and Kyle cut and styled my hair today (pictured!). Both times, I left very happy, and both stylists gave great advice for maintenance and styling!

I went to Chatters today to get my hair cut & coloured. Kyle was my stylist. He was very friendly & did an amazing job!! I'm SO happy with my hair- I always leave salons kinda disappointed, but for the first time I'm 100% happy.

This experience happened almost a year ago but it has left my hair experience here and other salons scarred. I went in with hair just passed my shoulder and I showed the stylist Sally the photos of a bob that I wanted to sit just above my shoulders. What I got was something completely different. She gave me an inverted bob that was extremely short in the back and long at the front which looked nothing at all like the photos or looked like anything we had discussed. I have never gotten upset over hair before but this was the first time where she completely ruined my hair and I could do nothing about it. It was so much shorter than anticipated that I had to wait months before I could even get it evened out. A year later my hair has finally grown out to where it should have been months ago. Not to mention when I went to a trusted family stylist he mentioned on how uneven and bad it was and it took 2 separate appointments to let my hair grow out and even it out before it was all finally even. I am usually not overly picky with these types of things as I like to trust professionals, but this experience here hurt my self confidence of my hair and has now made me extremely cautious as to who I go see and trust. I will never go back here or have my hair done by Sally ever again.
